Are you tired of the one size fits all dieting? Do you get frustrated by all the different information given by books and the internet? Most approaches to healthy eating dwell on restriction of calories, fats, carbohydrates, and protein. I believe some of that to be helpful, but more often when you look beyond food and examine how all areas of your life are connected you will start to see patterns that make the ingredients for an unhealthy life. Does stress at work or in your relationships (or lack of relationship) cause you to overeat? Does lack of sleep or sleep disruptions prevent you from exercising? As we work together, we will look at how all parts of your life affect your health as a whole.
Instead of creating lists of restrictions we will explore basic improvements and implement small changes during our work together. My objective is to give you the tools and support to make long lasting sustainable nutrition and lifestyle changes. In collaboration with each other, we will work on what you want to improve within your unique situation. Drawing on my training as a health coach I will ask thought provoking questions that will allow you to discover your own solutions. I provide my clients with guidance and accountability, as well as support, all in a safe and compassionate environment.
Once we define what you value most from your health, we’ll use these visions to motivate specific goals that bring you where you want to be in your life. As your health coach, I will not tell you what to eat, but together we will explore certain foods and how they may make you feel better than others. We will co-create actionable objectives so you know exactly what you’re working toward. It is my goal to provide you with the information, resources, recipes, and mindset to achieve your goals and transform your life.
